Experience Hjemsted Oldtidspark where an Iron Age village was situated 2000 years ago. Travel through time starting in our 1000 m2 underground museum and continuing through an environment of Iron Age farms, defence systems and Roman catapults. Learn to use a bow and arrow, sail in a dugout canoe and take part in many other fun activities. During our peak season, the farms are inhabited by ‘real’ Iron Age families, and Roman legionnaires visit the park. Taste local Jutland Wadden Sea produce at our lovely Café and Restaurant Vadehavet. Visit our shop where you will find a wealth of inspiring historical items.
